SEX OFFENDER BREACHED SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER
A man from Bodelwyddan has received a community order after violating his sexual harm prevention order.Patrick Thomas, aged 25 and residing in Bryn Morfa, pleaded guilty to the breach during a hearing at Llandudno Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 6.
The order was initially imposed on June 2, 2025, in relation to an offence involving inappropriate communication with a minor.
The breach occurred between October 29 and November 14, 2025, when Thomas did not disclose to police that he had both downloaded and subsequently deleted two dating and chat applications from his mobile device.
As part of his sentence, he is subject to a six-month electronically monitored curfew, which restricts him from leaving his residence between 8 pm and 6 am.
Additionally, a deprivation order was issued concerning his phone.
Thomas is also required to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
