YOUNG MAN FOR ASSAULT AND THREATENING POLICE AFTER BIZARRE 'WET WILLY' INCIDENT
Nico Tole, a 19-year-old from Aberdeen, appeared before Aberdeen Sheriff Court after committing a bizarre assault and engaging in threatening behavior. The court heard that Tole had initially approached a stranger on Union Street around 7:08 pm on August 16 and, after becoming irate and aggressive, he pushed the man and then committed the assault known as a 'wet willy,' which involved putting his saliva-wet finger into the stranger's ear.
Following his arrest, Tole stripped off his clothes, exposed himself to police officers, and made homophobic remarks including threats that he would 'rape your little sisters.' During transport to the police station, he continued to act aggressively, struggled with police, and uttered violent threats.
Tole was charged and pleaded guilty to assault, obstructing officers, and behaving in an abusive and threatening manner, which included exposing his genitals.
His solicitor mentioned his history of mental health issues and substance abuse involving alcohol and prescription medication.
The court sentenced him to a community payback order and ordered 100 hours of unpaid work.
Tole expressed remorse for his actions, which he admitted he could not fully remember due to intoxication and health issues.
