NEIL PEARSON FROM BRIXHAM AND DENHOLME SENTENCED FOR SEX OFFENCES INVOLVING BOY

Neil Pearson, a man aged 50, has been handed a sentence of one year in prison, which has been suspended for a period of two years, following his admission to six counts of indecency with a young boy dating back to the mid-1990s.

Pearson, who currently resides in Brixham, was previously known to the victim, having befriended him when the boy was approximately 12 or 13 years old.

The victim, whose identity remains protected, reported the abuse many years after the incidents occurred, bringing the case to the attention of authorities.
