NATHAN MORLEY FROM BRAUNSTON SENTENCED FOR INDECENT ASSAULTS IN THE EARLY 1960S

A man identified as Nathan Morley, hailing from the village of Braunston, has been handed down a prison sentence of fifteen months after he admitted to committing multiple counts of indecent assault.

The charges stem from incidents that took place in the early 1960s, involving a young girl who was between six and ten years old at the time.

Morley, who was brought before the court, pleaded guilty to six separate charges related to these historical offenses.

The court heard that these acts had a persistent and deeply damaging effect on the victim’s adult life, causing long-lasting psychological trauma.

Despite the considerable time that has elapsed since the incidents and Morley's lack of previous criminal convictions, the court acknowledged the profound impact on the victim’s mental health and well-being.

In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered Nathan Morley to refrain from any contact with children for a period of five years.
