His disruptive behavior included shouting profanities in the wooded area adjacent to her home, which prevented her from sleeping peacefully.
Sunrise had a long-standing acquaintance with the woman, Danika Fawcett, but on October 25 last year, he directed offensive remarks at her and issued a threat saying, "F*** off you c***, I am going to burn your house down." The woman expressed feeling stressed and fearful, worried that he might act on his threats and cause damage to her property.
Witnesses observed him outside her home yelling, "I am going to burn all you f****** in your houses and you're all going to die." Sunrise pleaded guilty to charges of threatening property damage and using threatening, abusive, or insulting language or behavior.
The court noted he had multiple prior convictions for public order offenses, being drunk and disorderly, and malicious communications.
He was sentenced to 29 weeks in prison; his time in custody was included in this sentence, so he is likely to be released soon.
