Michael John Wade, a resident of Langport in Somerset, was found guilty of causing unnecessary suffering to his pet dog, Dora, by neglecting her basic needs over a period of three months. The case revealed that Wade had deliberately starved Dora, leaving her in a state of extreme emaciation and distress.
According to court reports, Wade failed to provide adequate food and care for Dora between August 12 and November 12, 2015.
