MAN JAILED FOR 21 YEARS FOR RAPE AND MULTIPLE SEX OFFENCES
Michael Senior, aged 32 and from Bootle, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, 19 September, after being convicted of multiple serious charges.
His convictions include five counts of rape, two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a minor, two counts of sexual assault, and two counts of provoking or encouraging a child to partake in sexual acts.
In addition, he admitted to offenses related to indecent images of a child, including making, distributing, and possessing such material, prior to his trial.
The case developed from an extensive investigation stemming from reports that a 12-year-old boy was first subjected to a grave sexual offence in 2013, with subsequent allegations spanning a decade.
Alongside his imprisonment, Senior has been ordered to register as a sex offender for life and is subject to a 20-year restraining order.
