ABERDEEN STALKER BREACHING COURT ORDER LANDS BACK IN COURT
Mehdi Omid, 34, was told to stay away from the frightened woman last year, but eight months later, he breached the court order and landed back in the dock.
A terrified woman triggered her panic alarm when Omid, who was already banned from going near her, defied the restriction by turning up outside her work in Aberdeen’s Union Street.
Omid approached her three times, passing her and lingering in the area before being challenged by her partner.
The woman activated her panic alarm, causing Omid to leave the area.
Omid pleaded guilty to breaching the non-harassment order by approaching her and was also charged with being on Union Street and Back Wynd, violating court orders.
The court sentenced him to be electronically tagged for 15 weeks and fined him £100, with a non-harassment order in place for three years.
