DUNSTABLE PAEDOPHILE MARTIN SEABORN SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND IMAGE POSSESSION

In a case that has shocked the community of Dunstable, Martin Seaborn, aged 55, has been sentenced to a decade behind bars after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offenses involving young girls and possessing a vast collection of illegal child abuse images. The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about Seaborn's criminal conduct, which spanned over several years and involved heinous acts against vulnerable victims.

Seaborn's crimes came to light after police investigations uncovered evidence of his abuse and illegal material stored on his computers. The offences included assaults on two young girls, one of whom was just 7 years old when the abuse began, and the other was 11 at the time of a separate incident. The first girl was subjected to sexual assault over a period of approximately one year, until Seaborn's arrest in August 2013. The second incident, involving the 11-year-old girl, occurred in 1996, and Seaborn admitted to this assault during the court proceedings.

Prosecutor Simon Ash detailed to Luton Crown Court that police, upon examining Seaborn's electronic devices, discovered a disturbing collection of indecent images of children. These images had been obtained through peer-to-peer file sharing networks, with Seaborn using the search term
