BONHILL MAN CAUGHT WITH 275 INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
A PERVERT is awaiting his fate after 275 indecent images of children were found on his computer.Bonhill man Martin McDougall admitted being in possession of the sick pictures at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week.
Malcolm McLeod, fiscal depute, said “intelligence” had reason to believe the 35-year-old had indecent images of kids and a search warrant was granted.
On April 2 cops turned up at his Ladyton address and McDougall told them: “You will find stuff on the computer.
There is some images and pictures.” Officers found the pictures and seized his computer.
Mr McLeod said: “In due course, the hard drive was examined and individual images of children were found within the Limewire shared folder.
The accused was interviewed under caution and admitted downloading and viewing them.” McDougall told officers he had been downloading the pictures from the internet for up to a year while using drugs and alcohol.
The majority of the images – 157 – were categorised as ‘level one’ which is of the least serious nature, while 32 images were level three, 79 at level four and seven were level five.
