FACE OF PAEDOPHILE MARK WARREN WHO HAS BEEN JAILED
THIS is the face of a paedophile who was jailed for breaching court orders designed to keep children safe.Mark Warren, of Gilberts End, Hanley Castle, was jailed at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday (November 11) for breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and 14 counts of failing to notify police of his whereabouts, which he is required to do as a registered sex offender.
The 51-year-old had previously been convicted of making indecent images of children and later, of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
He is currently serving a three-year prison sentence.
Appearing before Worcester Crown Court via a video link from prison, Judge Nicolas Cartwright told Warren he was sentencing him to a further 14 months, to run consecutively to the three-year sentence.
"The notification requirements are there to protect the public," said Judge Cartwright.
"You were supposed to be telling the police where you were so they knew where the risks lay so it was not an uncontrolled risk."
