2009: CHILD PORN MAN JAILED

A 47-year-old man from Mustow Green was sentenced to 15 months in prison at Worcester Crown Court after admitting to 17 charges related to child pornography.

Mark Simkiss, residing at Talbot Cottage in Mustow Green, confessed to 16 counts of creating indecent images of children by downloading such material from the internet.

He also acknowledged possession of both photographs and video clips of child pornography.

The offences spanned from May 2005 to July of the previous year.

Judge John Cavell imposed a 10-year Sexual Offences Prevention Order as part of the sentences.
