“NOT GUILTY” SHOCK IN COURT — MAN ACCUSED IN CHILD SEX CASE DENIES ALL CHARGES
A man accused of travelling to meet a child has pleaded not guilty to multiple sexual offence charges at court.Mark Coleman appeared before Teesside Crown Court, where he denied four charges relating to alleged offences involving three children aged between 13 and 14.
The case follows an earlier incident in Darlington, where Coleman is alleged to have travelled a significant distance and attended a hotel.
The matter came to light after an investigation involving online child protection group Red Rose UK.
During today’s hearing, the court entered not guilty pleas to all charges.
The case will now proceed to trial.
Coleman has been remanded in custody and is due to appear again for trial on 25th June.
As proceedings are now active, strict reporting rules apply.
All allegations will be tested in court, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
