BORDERS MAN SENTENCED FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
A Borders man found with hundreds of pornographic photographs of children will be sentenced next month at Selkirk Sheriff Court.Businessman Mark Bennett, 51, pleaded guilty to a second charge of making indecent images of children including a 14-year-old girl.
The offences took place at his residence in Traquair near Innerleithen between December 2011 and February 2020.
His sentencing was deferred until April 20 to allow for background reports, and he was made subject to the notification requirements of the sex offenders register.
