A man named Lyle McGuire, aged 29 and residing on West Avenue in Wetherby, has been found guilty and sentenced for multiple counts of rape.
During a trial held at Leeds Crown Court, the jury convicted him of several incidents of sexual assault.
Besides the rape charges, McGuire admitted guilt to additional offences including affray, criminal damage, and making threats to damage property, which were related to an incident that took place on July 8 of the previous year.
On February 28, he received a prison sentence of 15 years and nine months.
The court's decision followed an extensive investigation, and the length of the sentence reflects the serious nature of his crimes.
