REPULSIVE DOG WALKER FILMED HIMSELF SEXUALLY ATTACKING PET HE ‘CLICKED’ WITH
A man from St Cyrus has been sentenced to prison after recording himself engaging in violent sexual acts with a dog belonging to a stranger, which he had initially agreed to walk.Luke Wilson appeared before Aberdeen Sheriff Court, admitting to a shocking and deeply disturbing sexual assault on a 15-year-old female Staffie-cross named Iffie in April of the previous year.
Wilson responded to an online ad about walking Iffie and another dog, Betty, belonging to a woman, but instead took the dogs to his home where he carried out a prolonged and violent sexual act on Iffie.
His suspicious behavior came to light when he sent a text to the dog’s owner, asking if he could keep Iffie for a few days because he felt they had a strong connection.
When the owner declined and returned the dogs, she sensed something was wrong.
After a vet examined Iiffie and found injuries, police were involved.
During their investigation, officers discovered disturbing videos on Wilson’s phone, confirming he had committed acts of sexual violence against the dog.
Further investigation revealed Wilson possessed child abuse material and had engaged in online chats with a 10-year-old girl, in which he paid for more illicit content.
During court proceedings, the prosecution explained that Wilson responded to an advertisement in April last year.
He arrived to pick up the dogs, but delayed returning them, prompting concern from the owner.
Wilson requested to care for Iffie temporarily, claiming they had a bond, but when she met him, Iffie was visibly distressed, wet, and trembling, with the owner later noticing blood on the dog’s hind legs and signs of pain.
Wilson initially told her that Iffie had sat on a stick.
Following a veterinary examination, police were called.
A subsequent search at Wilson’s residence uncovered videos and images depicting animal abuse and sexual acts.
He admitted to a range of sexual acts with the dog during his police interview.
Officers also found footage involving another dog and evidence of online conversations with a supposed 10-year-old girl involving child abuse images, including some of very young children.
Wilson’s devices contained numerous indecent images, videos, and material related to bestiality.
Wilson pleaded guilty to multiple charges: sexual assault of a dog, causing unnecessary suffering to a dog, possession of indecent images of children, downloading child abuse material, engaging in indecent communication with a child, and requesting sexual images.
His lawyer described the offending as occurring when Wilson was a teen, emphasising his life had been significantly impacted and that he was a very immature individual responsible for heinous acts.
The lawyer urged for efforts towards rehabilitation, asserting the need to prevent such behavior in the future.
The Sheriff condemned Wilson’s conduct as reprehensible, highlighting the serious and disturbing nature of his offenses, which involved harm to both animals and children.
He delivered a sentence of two years’ imprisonment, followed by two years on licence.
A six-year sexual harm prevention order was imposed, restricting Wilson’s internet access and his ability to keep animals during this period, and he was placed on the sex offenders register for life.
