Luke Wall, a resident of Rumney in Cardiff, has received a jail sentence following his conviction for domestic violence, and a five-year restraining order has been imposed against him.

The 32-year-old admitted to two charges of assault causing actual bodily harm.

These incidents involved attacking a former partner during her pregnancy in October 2023.

During the first assault, he slapped her twice, resulting in her head hitting the bed’s headboard.

The second incident involved him attempting to physically remove her from a vehicle by her hair, then hitting her and biting her leg, which left a scar.

He was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on July 5 to serve a 21-month prison term.
