Tragically, Cadman took advantage of her compromised state. He filmed the woman on his mobile device before assaulting her in the alleyway. The attack was severe enough that the woman reported the incident to staff at a nearby pub, who then contacted Bedfordshire Police. Law enforcement officers responded swiftly and located Cadman near the scene of the crime. Upon arrest, they examined his phone and discovered the intimate footage he had secretly recorded of the woman, along with other video clips of young women, which raised further concerns about his predatory behavior.

The judge also noted that Cadman’s criminal record included guilty pleas to three counts of voyeurism, possession of indecent images, and possession of cannabis.
Cadman, who resides on Meadow Way in Leighton Buzzard, was found guilty of rape earlier in the year. The court sentenced him to an extended term of 12 years and three months in prison. The sentence comprises nine years and three months of actual custody, followed by a three-year period on licence.
