LIAN WILD FROM HANBURY BECOMES INVOLVED IN MANSLAUGHTER CASE IN BIRMINGHAM
In 2014, 23-year-old Lian Wild, a resident of School Road in Hanbury, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility for the death of his mother, Karen Wild, aged 42.The incident occurred at her residence, where she was found with fatal stab wounds.
Court reports indicated that Mr.
Wild was detained indefinitely under a hospital order at Reaside Clinic in Birmingham.
The court documentation stated, "A man has been detained indefinitely for stabbing his mother to death in a Worcestershire village." The case was heard at Birmingham Crown Court, where Wild’s plea of guilty due to diminished responsibility led to the issuance of a hospital order under the Mental Health Act.
The court also noted the significant mental health factors involved in the tragic event, which took place in the village of Hanbury.
