NORTH-EAST MAN ADMITS TO EXPOSING HIMSELF AND ASSAULTING POLICE OFFICER
A north-east man, Lee Wilson, has admitted to exposing himself and assaulting a police officer during a drunken incident at the weekend.Two women, who cannot be named for legal reasons, approached their home in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen at around 6pm on Sunday where they saw Wilson lying on the grass outside drinking from a bottle of whisky.
Around an hour later, one of them looked out of a window and saw the 26-year-old still there on the ground staring at her.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard yesterday that the other woman left the front door of the property shortly after and discovered Wilson with both hands on his genitals urinating.
He stared at her as she came out, and she turned around and headed back indoors due to the shock.
When the other woman looked out of her window again, she found him still looking at her whilst exposing himself.
The police were then contacted, and Wilson was detained and taken to the Kittybrewster police station.
While there, he was asked by police constable Bryan Bruce for a sample of his fingerprints.
He refused to cooperate and punched the officer.
Wilson pleaded guilty to both charges when he appeared from custody yesterday.
Defence agent Bob Anderson said Wilson had very little recollection of the incidents.
He said: “My client is already subject to a community payback order.
He knows he does not mix well with spirits or alcohol in general, and that he should not have been drinking.
He has very little recollection of the circumstances.
I believe a psychiatric report would be of assistance to the court ahead of sentencing.” Sheriff Malcolm Garden ordered a psychiatric report and a criminal justice social work report.
He added: “Community payback orders obviously aren’t working on you, so you will be remanded in custody.” Wilson will return to court on June 7 for sentencing.
