LLANDISSILIO MAN ADMITS TO POSSESSING OVER 600 INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN
A 26-year-old man from Llandissilio has admitted to possessing over 600 indecent images of children on his phone.
The court heard that Lawrence Lambert was accused of having 258 Category A images, 223 Category B images, and 135 Category C images on his device between August 5, 2019, and August 5, 2022.
Initially, Lambert pleaded not guilty to three charges of making indecent images of children, but on the day of his trial, he switched his plea and admitted to all charges.
The court was informed that Lambert has no previous convictions.
The judge, Catherine Richards, adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report and ordered Lambert to register as a sex offender.
His sentencing is scheduled for March 12.
