NASTY YORKSHIRE WOMEN SHARE SEX VIDEOS OF EX-FRIEND WITH HER MUM TO EMBARRASS HER IN BITTER FALL-OUT
n a recent case, Aimee Lawson, 31, and Lauren Fowler, 20, were charged with revenge porn activities after they added their victim to a Facebook group chat filled with acquaintances, family members, and her ex-partner, and then shared roughly four videos and about 40 photographs of a sexual nature showing her.The videos had been taken earlier during a drunken event by Lawson, who thought they had been deleted.
Instead, Lawson and Fowler intentionally shared these images and videos to shame the victim, accusing her of sleeping with various men and using social media to attack her reputation.
Both admitted to revealing private sexual material with the intent of causing her distress.
The victim stated she felt 'embarrassed, humiliated and angry' upon learning about the posts and was worried about the ongoing impact on her relationship with her ex-partner’s family.
Although they were on bail for common assault, they had previously served community orders, which they completed successfully.
The judge described their actions as very unpleasant and aimed at distressing the victim but decided against jail time because of their good progress and the timing of the offense.
They were sentenced to a 12-month community order, which included 20 rehabilitative sessions, 80 hours of unpaid work, and a £320 fine, avoiding imprisonment.
