WILTSHIRE BUSINESSMAN TO BE SENTENCED FOR SEXUALLY ABUSING CHILD
A man who previously owned multiple businesses across Swindon and Wiltshire is awaiting sentencing after admitting to sexual offences involving a 13-year-old girl.Kyle Holmes, of Eider Avenue, Lyneham, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 17 and three counts of inciting a girl of similar age to engage in sexual acts.
These offences occurred between May 30, 2025, and November 21, 2025, with the same individual as the victim.
He also denied five other charges.
The case was heard at Swindon Crown Court on Thursday, April 23, with prosecutor Ms.
Bull requesting that the five additional charges be dropped and referred back to the Magistrates Court.
This was approved on May 7, leading to their withdrawal and clearing the way for sentencing in the Crown Court.
Holmes is due to be sentenced on Wednesday, May 27, and remains in custody.
Earlier, Judge Townsend warned Holmes that a custodial sentence was being considered for these offences.
