A man from Hilperton has received a prison sentence of four years and two months after being convicted of stalking a woman and deliberately suffocating her.
Kyle Chisholm, aged 27 and residing on Foxglove Drive in Hilperton, appeared at Swindon Crown Court on April 9.
He pleaded guilty to charges of stalking and intentional suffocation.
The incidents occurred between December 2023 and November 2025, during which Chisholm stalked a woman he knew.
On at least two occasions, he caused her to fear harm or violence.
He sent her multiple threatening messages, including threats to kill or harm her, her pets, and her children.
He also visited her address, where he disconnected her doorbell camera and damaged her car's tires.
On one occasion, Chisholm held a pillow over the woman’s face while making threats to take her life.
Following his conviction, he was also issued an indefinite restraining order against her.
