MAN APPEARS IN COURT OVER CHILD SEX OFFENCES AND INDECENT PHOTOS
Kurtis Summers appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court yesterday for his first hearing.The 25-year-old faces serious charges involving allegations of child sexual offences.
He is accused of arranging or facilitating a child sex offence, including rape and assault by penetration of a child under 13.
In addition, Summers is facing charges related to making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.
The case was listed under the reference number 01XH1039525.
The court was told the allegations are under investigation, and Summers was remanded in custody ahead of future hearings.
He did not enter a plea during this initial appearance.
Magistrates ordered the case to proceed to a preliminary hearing.
Summers is due to return for a further court date, where the charges will be formally considered.
The court emphasized that all defendants are entitled to a fair trial under UK law.
