Marston Magna Sexual Abuser
In August 2014, Kraig Murley, a 42-year-old former development engineering manager at Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil, narrowly avoided a prison sentence after admitting to 15 charges related to possessing and creating child sexual abuse images. Murley’s actions, which took place during a single day of offending, resulted in him losing his job, damaging his reputation, and risking his home.

Local police received information from the United States indicating that Murley had downloaded illicit images from the internet. On June 12, 2013, officers executed a search warrant at his home in Camel Street, Marston Magna. During the search, they seized his computer and were preparing to leave when Murley, who had just arrived home from work, reportedly told officers, "They're all on my laptop," according to prosecutor Caroline Bolt.

Murley subsequently admitted to all 15 charges, which included eight counts of producing indecent movies featuring children. He also confessed to downloading indecent photographs, making a total of 1,983 such images, along with 41 indecent movie clips of minors.
