Lowestoft Child Sexual Abuser
In a series of disturbing incidents in Blundeston, Kevin Robinson, a 29-year-old resident of Breydon Way, Lowestoft, has been found guilty of multiple indecent exposures. The court heard that Robinson, who is registered on the sex offender notification list due to prior convictions, committed these offences on seven separate occasions, with some incidents involving elaborate disguises and provocative attire.

Robinson's disturbing behavior included wearing a bra and suspender belt underneath a trench coat, which he used to expose himself to unsuspecting women in the quiet village of Blundeston. On one notable occasion, he donned a blonde wig while committing the act, adding a layer of bizarre theatrics to his misconduct. These incidents took place over several months, with the earliest reported in April and the latest in October, causing significant concern among local residents.

During a court hearing on a Tuesday, Robinson pleaded guilty to two specific counts of exposure, which occurred on September 6 and October 18. He requested that five other similar offences, committed between April and August, be taken into consideration during sentencing. The magistrates, citing jurisdictional limits, decided to defer sentencing to Ipswich Crown Court, where a more comprehensive hearing will determine his punishment.

Prosecutor Colette Griffiths provided details of the October 18 incident, describing how Robinson approached a 35-year-old hairdresser in Blundeston’s main street. According to her account, Robinson fixed her with a chilling, direct stare before opening his trench coat to reveal himself. She stated, “He was naked apart from a black lace bra. He was wearing a pink suspender belt,” and added that Robinson was also wearing a blonde wig at the time.

Another incident, which took place on September 6, involved Robinson leaping out in front of a 23-year-old woman on Church Road. She recounted that he was wearing a balaclava and grinned through it as he exposed himself. This act was part of the series of flashing offences that have now come to light.

The court also heard that Robinson’s criminal history includes a four-year prison sentence for false imprisonment, sexual assault, and unlawfully detaining a child. His previous convictions underscore the seriousness of his recent actions and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.

As the case moves forward, a date will be set for Robinson’s sentencing at Ipswich Crown Court, where authorities will determine the appropriate punishment for his repeated and disturbing offences in Blundeston.
