COALPIT HEATH MAN SENTENCED FOR SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY BREACHES
A man from the Yate area has been sentenced after failing to comply with sex offenders' register requirements.
Kevin Johns, aged 59, did not inform police of bank cards in his possession between May 31, 2023, and August 1, 2023.
Additionally, he failed to complete his annual registration at Chipping Sodbury Police Station on January 12, 2024.
Johns pleaded guilty to three charges and was sentenced at Bristol Magistrates' Court on July 3.
He received a community order that will end on July 2, 2026, and was ordered to undertake up to 12 days of rehabilitation activity.
He was also fined £50 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £114, which will be deducted from his benefits.
