In July 2017, Kevin Humphreys, a 55-year-old resident of Westfield Road in Dunstable, was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of possessing indecent images of children and engaging in inappropriate online conversations with a teenage girl.

Humphreys, who has been on the sex offenders register since 2004, was subject to a sexual harm prevention order designed to restrict his online activities and prevent further offending.

During a routine home visit conducted by police as part of his offender management, authorities discovered that Humphreys was in possession of a collection of indecent images of children, along with extreme pornographic material.
