KENNETH PATON FROM TROON SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR HISTORIC SEXUAL OFFENSES IN THE HIGH COURT

Kenneth Paton, 46, of Troon, has received a six-year prison sentence following his conviction for a series of sexual offenses, including rape and abuse, committed between 1984 and 1988. The High Court condemned the crimes as "horrendous" and additionally ordered Paton to be registered on the sex offenders' register. Despite asserting his innocence, the court highlighted the gravity of the crimes inflicted upon his victims over several decades.
