An elderly man has been given a nine-year prison sentence after being convicted of multiple historical sexual offences.
Keith Turner, aged 84, received his sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday, 8 April.
Residing on Warwick Close in Kidsgrove, Turner admitted to charges including indecent assault of a girl under 16, four counts of gross indecency with a girl under 14, and nine counts of indecent assault of a girl under 14.
These crimes took place in Stoke-on-Trent over a period spanning from 1975 to 2005.
Detective Chief Inspector Zoe Kelsall, the lead investigator, expressed her appreciation for the victims' courage and bravery in coming forward, enabling the case to be prosecuted.
