KEITH SAYER FROM UNKNOWN LOCATION ADMITS TO MAKING NEARLY 170,000 CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN BASINGSTOKE

In a significant development in the ongoing fight against child exploitation, Keith Sayer, a 39-year-old man, has confessed to producing an alarming number of child abuse images over a span of more than five years. The offences, which took place primarily in Basingstoke, have shocked the local community and raised serious concerns about online safety and child protection.

According to court records, Sayer, whose address is listed as Lewes Prison in Essex, admitted to creating a total of 8,376 images classified as Category A, 8,376 images in Category B, and a staggering 152,073 images categorized as Category C. These images were produced between September 17, 2014, and March 3, 2020, highlighting a prolonged period of criminal activity.

In addition to the production of these illicit images, Sayer also pleaded guilty to possessing six manuals related to paedophilia, further underscoring the severity of his actions and the potential threat posed to vulnerable children.

The court proceedings revealed that Sayer has been remanded into custody and will remain so until his sentencing, scheduled for August 13 at Winchester Crown Court. The case continues to draw attention from law enforcement agencies and child protection advocates, emphasizing the importance of vigilance and swift legal action against such heinous crimes.
