ABERDEEN SEX OFFENDERS KAROL GROBELNY AND MICHAL SZCZEPANEK SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS EACH

Two men, Karol Grobelny, aged 33, and Michal Szczepanek, aged 31, have been handed down sentences of five years in prison each after being found guilty of a brutal and non-consensual sexual assault on the same woman. The incident took place in a flat located in Greig Court, Aberdeen, on the evening of August 11, 2019.

According to court records, Grobelny, who works at a local car showroom, committed the assault while his wife and family were away attending a celebration. The trial revealed that both men and the victim had spent time together earlier that day, visiting various pubs across Aberdeen before eventually returning to Grobelny’s residence for food and drinks.

Prosecutors argued that during this gathering, both men initially engaged in inappropriate physical contact with the woman, including groping her. Grobelny claimed that he found the woman in his bed with Szczepanek beside her and insisted that she had initiated sexual contact. He expressed remorse during the proceedings, stating,
