STALKER WHO CLIMBED ON WOMAN'S BALCONY AND BANGED ON HER WINDOW APPEARS IN COURT
A stalker who climbed onto a woman’s balcony and repeatedly knocked on her window changed his plea to guilty when he appeared in court.Joshua George Felton, aged 30, Treliever Farm, Carnon Valley, Carnon Downs had pleaded not guilty to stalking involving serious alarm and distress but changed his plea to guilty when he appeared at Truro Magistrates’ Court last week on October 18.
The charge read that between July 10, 2022 and August 24 at Newquay he stalked a named woman which had had a substantial effect on her usual day to day activities.
This included sending repeated and unwanted communications, frequent unannounced and uninvited visits to her home including climbing her balcony and repeatedly knocking at her door, writing notes on her window and the leaving of unwanted gifts after being told to stay away.
Fewlton was remanded on bail to November 21 at 12 noon at Truro Magistrates’ Court with the condition that he was not to contact directly or indirectly three named people and not to enter Newquay or Whipsiderry Beach, nr Newquay to prevent offending.
The case was identified as urgent as it was a domestic violence case.
