JOSEPH WALL FROM LEASIDE SENTENCED FOR ABUSE IN NORTHUMBRIA AND NEWCASTLE
In a case that has spanned decades, Joseph Wall, a man now aged 73 and residing in Leaside, Buckinghamshire, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for heinous crimes committed in the Northumbria and Newcastle areas.The criminal acts, which took place during the 1980s and 1990s, involved the sexual abuse of three young girls, each of whom was under the age of twelve at the time.

It was only in 2019 that they found the courage to come forward and disclose their experiences to specialist officers within Northumbria Police.

In 2020, Joseph Wall was formally interviewed by authorities.
Despite his denials, the evidence against him was compelling enough to lead to charges.
He was subsequently charged with 22 counts of indecent assault and one count of attempted rape.
Throughout the legal proceedings, Wall maintained his innocence, denying all allegations.
However, the jury at Newcastle Crown Court was not convinced by his claims.
After careful deliberation, they found him guilty of all 23 charges.
