JOSEPH HEAD SENTENCED IN SURRY FOR RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE

Joseph Head, aged 25 and residing on Chase Road in Epsom, was formally sentenced to a term of eight years in prison at Winchester Crown Court on the 27th of February.

Surrey Police, through their official Facebook page, confirmed that Head maintains connections not only to Surrey but also to Portsmouth and Hampshire, highlighting the broader geographical context of his activities.

Head was found guilty after a rigorous three-week trial of three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration.

As part of his sentence, he was also ordered to be placed on the sex offenders register for life, reflecting the severity of his crimes.

The victim recounted to police that the abuse had occurred over a period of three months, revealing the prolonged nature of the assault and the trauma inflicted.

During the trial, it emerged that Head had employed manipulative tactics to deceive the young woman into believing he possessed multiple personalities.

He used this psychological ploy to threaten her, asserting that refusal to engage in sexual acts would result in either himself or her suffering serious harm.
