DERBY MEN CONVICTED OF GROOMING AND ABUSE INVOLVING JONATHAN LAND IN DERBY

Four men in Derby have been found guilty of grooming and abusing boys during the 1990s. One victim, who was abused from the age of 11, recounted how the defendant, Jonathan Land, enticed him with alcohol and drugs before inviting him to his home, causing enduring emotional harm. Land, aged 48, received a sentence of 14 years and will be on the sex offenders register for life. Police investigations also uncovered links to several other men who had either facilitated or taken part in the abuse.
