On Friday, August 18, at Kingston Crown Court, Hayter, aged 32 and residing on Cardinal Avenue in Kingston, received a custodial sentence of four years and eight months.

The jury was presented with compelling evidence that detailed the timeline of the abuse, which began in 2007 when Hayter was just 16 years old.
The victim, a five-year-old girl, was under the care of her mother, who operated a childminding service in Kingston.
