The trial of a former Plymouth teacher accused of sexual offences against children has been adjourned from September this year, to November next year.
Jonathan Garnett-Smith, aged 40, from Tithe Road, Plymouth, was arrested by police following allegations relating to incidents understood to have taken place in Devon in the mid-2010s.
Garnett-Smith faces a number of charges relating to three girls aged under 13.
Garnett-Smith initially appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on Monday September 11, 2023 and a trial was listed to take place on May 7, 2024.
He returned to court on January 15, 2024 and the trial was relisted to take place on October 21 2024, but was later relisted for June 2, 2025.
At a hearing on December 9, 2024 the trial was again relisted to take place on September 8, 2025.
PlymouthLive understands the trial has since been relisted yet again - to November 2, 2026.
Garnett-Smith has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
