Jon Humphries-Cuff, a security company owner residing at Hillsborough House, Fromebridge, Whitminster, Gloucestershire, has been found guilty of neglecting his dog, Goffio, in a case that has drawn significant attention from animal welfare organizations.The incident highlights the severe conditions in which the Presa Canario was kept, with the dog found wandering the streets of Whitminster suffering from open sores and a severely rotted tail.
Humphries-Cuff, who was at the time a director of Cuff Security Services Ltd—an enterprise that has since been dissolved—was held accountable after the RSPCA launched an investigation into the dog's welfare.
The investigation was initiated when a council dog warden discovered Goffio roaming freely in the area, visibly suffering from neglect.
