CONVICTED ABUSER JOHN WATT SLAMMED AT ABERDEEN PROTESTS
A violent thug who abused two former girlfriends has been slammed for 'masquerading as a women's saviour' at an Aberdeen asylum seeker protest.Brute John Watt, who was convicted of attacking his former partners in 2018, was seen at a number of gatherings across Scotland in recent weeks while filming for his podcast, 'Bring the Noise'.
He has been convicted of assaulting his ex-partners, including instances where he held a woman by the neck, threw water over her, and dragged her by the hair down stairs.
Watt was also convicted of threatening and abusive behavior towards both women.
The jury found Watt guilty of assaulting his exes during their long relationships, with incidents involving physical violence such as kicking her, grabbing her, and dragging her out of her flat.
He was ordered to complete 300 hours of unpaid work and a three-year non-harassment order was issued to prevent contact with the victims.
Perth Against Racism and others criticized Watt for his history of violence, highlighting the false narratives around abusers masquerading as protectors.
Watt's actions have been condemned, and his activities at protests have been criticized for legitimizing his behavior.
