LAVERSTOCK MAN WITH HUNDREDS OF INDECENT IMAGES AVOIDS JAIL
A man who admitted to possessing images of a person having intercourse with a dog and horse, as well as hundreds of indecent images of children, has avoided jail.John Walter, 70, of Becket Way, Laverstock, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on January 30 after indicating guilty pleas to the offences on November 21.
He admitted making 209 Category C indecent images of children between April 20, 2021 and November 8, 2023.
He also admitted to making 10 Category B indecent images of a child, possessing two accessible prohibited images of a child, and making 10 Category A indecent images of a child during the same period.
Walter further admitted to possessing extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse or oral sex with a dead or alive animal.
He had 10 images, one still and nine moving, of a person performing an act of intercourse with a dog and a horse in an 'explicit or realistic way'.

He must also attend appointments with a responsible officer for up to 25 days and register with the police for 10 years.
