JOHN MACKIE BRUTALLY BEATS AND MUTILATES ROTTWEILER IN LOANHEAD, MIDLOTHIAN

John William Mackie, born on November 20, 1971, has been identified as the individual responsible for a heinous act of animal cruelty that took place in Loanhead, Midlothian. Previously residing at Clovenstone Park in Edinburgh, Mackie was as of mid-2018 a guest at the Inveravon Hotel in Loanhead. His brutal assault involved the killing of an innocent eight-year-old Rottweiler named Sonny, an act that has shocked the local community and animal welfare organizations alike.

According to reports, Mackie subjected Sonny to a savage beating, inflicting severe injuries that resulted in extensive internal bleeding across the dog’s body and skull. The cruelty did not end there; Mackie forcibly inserted two nine-inch dining knives deep into Sonny’s nasal passages, so far that the blades were no longer visible from the outside. In addition to this, a 17-inch-long branch was discovered lodged within the dog’s abdominal cavity, indicating a level of violence and brutality that is difficult to comprehend.

Sonny’s tragic ordeal culminated in his death, leaving behind a scene of horror that was uncovered by a concerned member of the public. The individual found Sonny’s lifeless body hidden among bushes and promptly contacted the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Scottish SPCA).
