JASON GAYMER FROM SALCOMBE REGIS CAUGHT WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES NEAR SIDMOUTH
In a case that has shocked the local community, Jason Gaymer, a 43-year-old resident of Salcombe Regis, was found to be in possession of highly disturbing images depicting child abuse.The incident came to light in November of the previous year when police executed a search warrant at his cottage located near Sidmouth, following intelligence that linked his IP address to the download of illegal child exploitation material.
During the raid, authorities seized a smartphone from Gaymer’s bedside table.
An examination of the device revealed three movies classified in the most severe category, known as Category A, which involves children engaged in sexual acts with adults.
In addition to these videos, investigators discovered 24 still images and another movie categorized under lower severity levels, specifically B and C.
