HULL MAN JAILED FOR HORRIFIC SEXUAL AND PHYSICAL ASSAULT
Polish immigrant Jaroslaw Jablonski, aged 36, who originally came from Poland but lived in Hull, East Yorkshire, was convicted of multiple heinous crimes including two counts of rape, six other sexual offences, and making a threat to kill.The court heard that he subjected a young woman to a prolonged and degrading ordeal, during which he raped, beat, and sexually abused her over several hours.
The attack was described by the judge as one of the worst he had seen in his career.
Jablonski denied sexual offences but was found guilty by a jury after a week-long trial at Hull Crown Court.
He was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
The judge, Mr.
Justice Paul Watson, characterized the attack as driven not by sexual gratification but by humiliation, degradation, and control.
He stated, 'I have to say that in 40 years of criminal practice, I have rarely, if ever, encountered such a brutal and sustained and degrading attack upon a young woman.' The victim's resilience was praised, and police highlighted their commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and ensuring offenders are brought to justice.
