JAN SVEJNOHA FROM STYAL FACES COURT OVER DOG'S SEVERE JAW INJURY IN WILMSLOW

Jan Pablo Svejnoha, a resident of Moss Lane in the village of Styal near Wilmslow, was brought before the court after failing to seek proper veterinary care for his dog, Zack, who suffered from a serious and unexplained injury to his jaw. Born in January 1967, Svejnoha has a criminal history that includes a previous conviction for producing Class A drugs, which adds context to his current legal issues.

According to court records, Svejnoha neglected to address Zack’s severe jaw injury, which was characterized by a significant loss of flesh and tissue. Instead of taking the dog to a veterinarian for professional treatment, Svejnoha attempted to treat the injury himself, a decision that likely contributed to the worsening of Zack’s condition. In sentencing, the court imposed a 12-month community order on Svejnoha, which includes a requirement to complete 240 hours of unpaid work. Additionally, Svejnoha was ordered to pay a total of £1,220 in fines and costs. As part of the penalty, he was disqualified from keeping dogs for a period of five years, although this disqualification expired in March 2022.
