Longforgan Sexual Abuser
In a case that has shocked the local community of Longforgan, James Small, a 40-year-old gas engineer, faced serious allegations related to the possession and distribution of indecent images and videos involving minors and animals. The incident came to light during a police operation at his residence, where authorities uncovered a disturbing collection of digital material.

According to the court proceedings held at Perth Sheriff Court, prosecutors revealed that Small was found with a total of 28 highly inappropriate images and 138 video clips stored on his personal computer. The content was predominantly composed of material depicting children being sexually assaulted by adults, a revelation that has caused considerable concern among residents and child protection advocates alike.

One particularly disturbing video, as detailed by prosecutor Charmaine Cole, showed a young male engaging in sexual intercourse with a chicken. This graphic and illegal content was part of the evidence presented during the hearing, highlighting the severity of the offenses.

During the police raid, Small reportedly reacted with panic and fear. He is quoted as having told officers, ā€œI’m so scared,ā€ upon their arrival at his home. Witnesses noted that he appeared visibly upset and distressed, which was consistent with his subsequent admission of guilt.

Small, who resides in Longforgan near Dundee, was also accused of sharing these illicit materials with other web users, further exacerbating the criminal nature of his actions. His plea of guilty included charges of possessing and distributing indecent images, which are considered serious offenses under the law.

As part of the legal proceedings, Small was ordered to register as a sex offender, a measure intended to monitor and prevent further offenses. The court deferred sentencing until May, pending the completion of social work reports that will assess his background and potential risk to the community. The case has left many in Longforgan and the surrounding areas deeply unsettled, emphasizing the ongoing need for vigilance and robust law enforcement against such heinous crimes.
