'MASTER MANIPULATOR' KNIFED INITIALS INTO GIRLFRIEND'S LEG THEN ASKED HER FOR HUG
A "master manipulator" etched his initials into his girlfriend's leg using a knife and then asked her to cuddle him.Heavy drinker James Freeman appeared "pleased with himself" after inflicting the wounds on the woman's leg that caused her leg tissue to hang out.
Freeman then asked the victim to kiss and cuddle him after the attack.
In separate episodes of violence, Freeman repeatedly drove at her with his car and suffocated her, Hull Crown Court was told.
Freeman, 27, of Hull, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm between May 5 and May 19 last year, assault bodily harm and intentional suffocation between December 1 and December 31 2024, and assault on May 24 last year.
The victim's grandfather, 68, told Hull Live: "He is a self-confessed sociopath.
He has told me that.
His behaviour isn't acceptable towards young women." The grandad added: "I guarantee that he will be in the paper again.
He will do it again.
As I enjoy pizza, he enjoys doing what he does.
He is a master manipulator.
He really is.
