CHILD SEX OFFENDER JAMES BLOXSOME JAILED FOR HEINOUS CRIMES
A serial child abuser named James Bloxsome, aged 29, has been convicted and sentenced for heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of a young boy and other children.
He was found guilty of multiple offenses including the rape of a boy under 13, attempted rape of another child, and three counts of sexual assault on children under 13.
The court heard that he threatened victims with a knife and violence, which caused some to suffer from self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
Victims reported fears of the abuser returning and nightmares about the abuse.
Bloxsome, who resides in The Square, Mere, Wiltshire, was previously of good character aside from a prior conviction for a public order offense.
During mitigation, the court learned he had a difficult childhood and had not attended school.
It was also noted that he was in a stable relationship before his abuse was exposed, which subsequently ended.
The judge sentenced him to 11 years in prison with an extended license period of one year.
Furthermore, Bloxsome was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a restraining order that will remain in place indefinitely.
