TEENAGE PERVERT MADE GIRL STRIP, FILMED HER AND SHARED SCREENSHOT ON INTERNET
A teenager has been sentenced to prison after forcing a young girl to strip, recording the incident, and sharing a screenshot online.Preston Crown Court was told that Jake Macro captured a 17-minute video of the girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, and instructed her to assume certain poses.
Prosecutor David Clarke stated that 18-year-old Macro also ordered the girl to perform exercises while counting aloud, reprimanding her with loud commands if she miscounted and making her repeat the exercises.
Macro, residing on Clayton Street in Great Harwood, was found to possess indecent images of children and extreme pornography.
All the images recovered depicted girls aged between four and nine years old.
An investigation into Macro’s internet history revealed searches such as “kids in changing rooms.” Mr.
Clarke explained that on August 15 of the previous year, police arrived at Macro’s address on Clayton Street, where he lived with his parents, regarding his Facebook account.
The account had been used to upload and distribute illegal images of children.
Following his arrest, authorities seized various devices including mobile phones and storage sticks.
Macro provided a prepared statement during police interview, claiming that in December 2017 he received an email containing several images, of which he viewed only two before deleting the rest.
However, police examined a Samsung mobile and a memory stick belonging to Macro and uncovered a significant collection of illegal material.
The investigation revealed that the offending occurred between June 2018, shortly before Macro’s 18th birthday, and August of the previous year.
In total, police discovered 58 images classified as Category A—representing the most severe level of child sexual abuse material—along with 33 Category B images and 89 Category C images, plus one video.
They also found one child sexual abuse image and one extreme pornographic image depicting sexual acts involving animals.
Notably, one Category C image was a screenshot from the child abuse video Macro had uploaded to Kik Messenger.
Mr.
Clarke highlighted Macro's active role in the abuse, noting that he made the girl remove her clothing, assume specific poses, and that although he was not physically violent, he was stern in his tone when she failed to count correctly during the exercise routines.
Macro pleaded guilty to three counts of producing indecent images of children, one count of distributing such images, one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child, and one count of possessing extreme pornography.
During his defense, solicitor David James described Macro as immature, dyslexic, and socially isolated, who turned to the internet for comfort.
He explained that initially, Macro accessed legal adult content but was later exposed to more disturbing material online.
Mr.
James added that Macro sought help the day after his arrest through the Stop it Now!
child sexual abuse prevention helpline and that he was terrified of going to prison.
Throughout the hearing, Macro wept in the courtroom.
He was sentenced to four months at a young offenders’ institution.
Additionally, he was ordered to comply with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and must register as a sex offender for the next seven years.
